I was born May 2002 in Prince George, British Columbia. From a very young age my parents have been supportive of my sport endeavors. At the beginning of every school year my mom would take my siblings and I to the Rec Mart and sign us up for whatever sport interested us. Finally after years of trying out sports and looking up to my older siblings for how athletic they were, at the age of 13, synchronized swimming came into my life. My practices went from 3 hours a week to 9 to 17 hours a week. In the school years of 2017-19 I was accepted in to the Canadian Northern Sport School so I could so extra training there. I love synchronized swimming and the places it takes me. It pushes me to be a stronger then I think I am. I put so much of myself into my sport and don't plan on stopping until I'm happy with my synchro career. I love working with my team and problem solving as a group. I value hard work and challenges.
How I got Started
I always had a love of swimming. I can remember my grandma teaching me how to swim in the lake at my family's cabin. Every day my grandma and I would have our "swimming lessons" in front of the dock, and soon enough I was swimming with ease. After years of basic swimming lessons I wanted to be more competitive but was't sure what exactly that entailed. Eventually, my little cousin, who also had an interest in swimming, joined in sychro and of corurse my grandma wanted me to join so i did, fell in love, and have been in it ever since.
